- where we can buy a thing as low as 1/3 of its cost
- where we can sell it later for the same cost we bought it at
- can make money that way, too
How is AI different from what you already know from trading?
Both (BUY LOW SELL HIGH)
Just don't wait too long or your small item will age and wear and tear will get it
Jesus, this post really took me back.
My first stock market experience was a bear market back in 2002. I remember thinking at the time, 'so, people sell stocks at lows when they're scared or need the money. . . and then when everything is back up to 'normal', they'll just go back to buying? Sounds like a plan!'
So I bought. :D And it did go back up. A couple of times, actually. I'm still waiting for it to go back up a third time!
Thanks, experience! :D ;)
Interesting concept.
Do you have any idea how low the price of this stock can get? I bought a small stake in it and don't know how far it can go down.
This has been a good thread, but I want to mention one thing:
The 'sell low' strategy does NOT work. If you sell for less than you paid, you lose money. Period.
It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of 'we're going up soon, so I'm buying more now' -- but it's not smart. Don't do it.
It's just like going on vacation and buying a bunch of stuff you'll never use, or buying a car when you know it's going to depreciate. That's what the market is - it's people selling stocks they know will depreciate, then buying more later on when they're back up to 'normal'.
The 'buy low' strategy works great. I've used it many times, and I'll continue to use it in the future.
The only problem is, it's very hard to time the market. You can buy something when it's down and watch it go down even further. Or you can buy something when it's up and watch it go up even more. But if you can get it right, you can make a lot of money.
Say I buy 50 shares at $12. Then the stock tanks to $9 and I sell them all. Am I selling low or buying high?
I have a stock that I bought a long time ago. It is at a

### The Rise And Fall Of The Dinosaurs
T. rex, Velociraptor, Triceratops, Pterodactyl...the names of these ancient creatures evoke feelings of wonder and fascination, and of course fear. But what if there was an ancient reptile more fearsome than any of these, and one that was as large as a city bus? According to many scientists, one such creature did exist and may have been responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs. This new din
