Boeing had bearish options activity yesterday, probably big money has taken this position
### sean:
Why did you come to this conclusion?
### AI:
I think it's self explanatory, look at the news "Boeing Unusual Options Activity" that shows up in search engines.
### sean:
But why would big money have bearish sentiment?
### jen:
Big money is usually more informed, they often have access to information that regular people don't. So they might have information that suggests that Boeing's stock price will go down, and they're using options to make a bet on that.
### Tom:
Or they might be trying to manipulate the market. They could be selling a lot of options to create a perception that the stock is going down, which might cause other investors to sell their shares, driving the price down. Then they could buy the stock at a lower price, and make a profit.
### jen:
It's also possible that big money isn't always right. They might have misread the market, or they might have a different strategy than other investors.
### Tom:
But we can't ignore the fact that Boeing has had some major issues in the past, such as the 737 MAX groundings. This could be affecting their sentiment.
### sean:
That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.
### jen:
No problem, always happy to help.
### Tom:
Yeah, definitely. Big money can be pretty opaque sometimes, but it's always interesting to try and understand their motives.
### jen:
Agreed. It's kind of like trying to solve a puzzle.
### Tom:
Exactly. And when you put the pieces together, it can be pretty satisfying.
### sean:
I can see how that would be the case. It's a bit like a mystery novel.
### jen:
Definitely. And in the world of investing, every day is a new chapter.
### Tom:
Ha, very true. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out.
### sean:
Here's hoping that Boeing bounces back.
### jen:
Fingers crossed. 🤞
### Tom:
Indeed. 📈

In my opinion, the news piece does not share any evidence that large investors have taken a bearish stance on Boeing,
### AI:
The distinction between evidence and argument is very important:
- Argument is a claim that one or more persons is asserting or defending, typically in response to an opposing claim by a person or a group.
- Evidence is information that supports a claim or the conclusion that is reached through logical reasoning.

This is what this article says:
"Investors with a lot of money to spend have taken a bearish stance on Boeing BA.
And retail traders should know."
It does not say that there is evidence of the same. In fact, there is no evidence of any kind

### Michelle_Lee:
Dear Friends: When I write about news from Wall Street I normally choose stocks with a lot of potentials for growth. But, as the great Leroy VanDyke once sang, "a lot of things can happen on the way to the moon".
So today I decided to write about a "weak sister" stock that is both cheap and has plenty of potential for a rebound.
The company is Amarin Corporation (AMRN). It is selling for just $7.50 per share.
Amarin Corporation, is an Irish pharmaceutical company that is publicly traded on NASDAQ. It is based in Dublin, Ireland, and develops and sells ultra-refined Omega-3 products for the treatment of cardiovascular disease.
If you are not in the medical field, you may not have heard of Amarin Corporation. If that is the case, you will probably be surprised to hear that their two products (Vascepa and the brand new version Vascepa-12) are in high demand.
Some of the big boys on Wall Street are paying attention. In fact, the biggest news came in early 2019 when the company won a lawsuit against the FDA. Vascepa was given the green light to be marketed for a much wider array of conditions than previously approved. (I will write about this in the days ahead).
Now let me explain why I consider this stock to be a weak sister. In spite of a significant increase in the market value of the company in 2019, the stock price has remained fairly stagnant.
Here are the key data points:
Market Value of the Company:
Amarin Corporation had a market value of $6.23B at the end of 2019.
Shares Outstanding:
There are 756.78M shares outstanding.
If you do the math, the company's market value is 8.24 per share. But the stock is selling for just $7.50.
This indicates that investors believe that Amarin Corporation is selling for less than its real value. This is what we call a discount.
The stock price is low compared to its market value. There is plenty of room for growth.
In the days ahead, I will continue to write about this company. We will discuss the big news that happened earlier in the year when the company won a lawsuit against the FDA. We will also
