Oke maybe you could educate yourself what diffuse large B cell lymphoma is. Maybe also what it means when someone says complete remission. But i guess asking a cancer patient what he meant is easier then google diffuse large b cell lymphoma.

Was it indeed DLBCL? Iirc you said he had some type of Lymphoma.

But yea its 5 years of living completely normal, every 3-4 months scans and no relapse. Thats it.

Good to hear its a complete remission.

We aren't doctors but from what we've heard in the past, a "complete remission" is a good thing.

It means they can't find any trace of cancer in the body. That doesn't mean the person is cured, just that the disease has gone into remission.

Complete remission is always the goal for a cancer patient, and can sometimes mean the person is cured.

I got an update on that friend, he reached complete remission which means he's in a good spot for the next 5 years. If there's no relapse and everything goes well for the next 5 years he's basically cured.
