It just kills me that the government banned something that has the same effects as alcohol and can save and improve many lives. I have anxiety and depression but the only thing that has been helping me is my bud and I can't legally use it. I have the choice of having no medicine or buying it from a drug dealer and risking getting in trouble. It makes me so angry. It's a disgusting world we live in.

But at least they still have faith in their people as they started a new punishment for cannabis users which is strangling.

Why not, cigarettes aren't banned, alcohol isn't banned, cannabis should be legal for everyone, why do we have these laws? Because cigarettes and alcohol cause very little health problems but weed is AIgerous, the number of people who died from alcohol is so high, if cigarettes and alcohol were banned and weed legalized, we would see less deaths, but what's stopping this? Money.

Its for the same reason most things get banned by the gov't, mainly it keeps the population in line. Anything that is a threat to the status quo or is not endorsed by the government gets banned, weed is a threat because it takes control away from the government as more people are happy just using it and don't pay attention to gov't decisions. Its the same thing as when they took away everyone's rights in 1940 with WW2, even if they don't ban it there's a long list of ways they can control people if they start acting out, like higher taxes, easier for cops to pull you over, and more laws. But once weed becomes completely legal in every state it's harder for the gov't to control us, we become more independent and harder to Read from source...
